Will the UK's NO2 reduction plan satisfy the Supreme Court?

Westminster Living Streets' has criticised  the UK government's draft response to the UK Supreme Court judgment on NO2 pollution.

Our main recommendations for UK, London, and Westminster are:
  • communicate better to public and motor industry that this is a public health crisis not an environmental one;
  • increase taxes and hourly parking charges on diesel cars;
  • set the implementation date for the expanded London ULEZ  in the plan, if necessary asking the Supreme Court to extend the plan deadline until the GLA can set the date.
